In late December we found the shortest amount of daylight in a day and from that darkness we saw the light of a Christmas star. In the new year, we walk in that light – learning and growing as believers – hoping to develop our gifts as servants to the Christ.
As the earth continues its latest revolution around the sun, we continue the work of Jesus to revolutionize human life.  We try to better understand his values and we hope to embody them – loving God and neighbor.
A new life-giving spirit is still finding ways to make itself known to us and in us.
That spirit flourishes whenever people of faith gather to Worship and serve. That spirit emerges from an empty tomb and rests on each of us like tongues of Pentecost fire.  It then continues to grow in the warmth of fellowship and Worship through the summer.
Then as fall brings inevitable changes, we look to the unchanging faithfulness of God.  That faithfulness will see us once again through the dark and cold moments of life – as winter approaches.
We have meaningful Worship each Sunday and life changing opportunities to serve.  Plan to join us – and spread the news!
One of our newest developing fellowship activity is our BCC&O Railroad.  It’s an HO scale model train layout that is still in its early stages with track and trains along with buildings and landscaping and more.  If you are interested in being part of this new activity, contact Rev. Dunn.
Here is a “slow loading” video of some of what the BCC &O offers:
